There were 3 alternate characters designed for Valiant: Lowercase a g k. In the first two, both standard and alternate types are included in this font. For the k, all types are the alternates; there are no standard letters.
About one-third of this type was apparently in a flood at one time. (Why not the whole font, who knows.) The face has been thoroughly cleaned. There is some silt residue remaining on the type bodies; it’s not pretty, but will print just fine.
