Description
Ransom Shaded Initials were produced by American Type Founders in sizes 12 through 48 point and are shown in their 1942 catalog. This incomplete set includes the two font ornaments and a pair of the matching brackets as originally furnished. A few types have been saw-trimmed for closer fit.
Please note that the letters X and Z were not made for Ransom Initials. Yeah, that’s dumb—take it up with ATF!
